Condolence to the family. Manong Pedring is very kind and helpful to us  and to everyone else. I could 't forget his very good advice about abortion. which if not for him, Chris would not be here. He tried to help as much as he can those in the Philipine medically.

Our family has fond memories with Uncle Pete. Just a year ago, he drove all the way to Vegas with Aunty Mely and Aunty Lily to join us for my father's 80th birthday and to welcome the Chinese New Year.  He's truly a great man - kind, caring, giving, knowledgeable, funny, compassionate - and he will always be in our hearts! We love you Uncle Pete!

Our family always go to Lolo Pete's home each year during Thanksgiving and Christmas. We will truly miss him, he was such an amazing person inside and out. Thank you Lolo Pete for being so kind to us. We love you.

Uncle Pete was like a second dad to me, during the time I came to the U.S. for the first time when I lived with the family for 3 yrs., and until the time after my Papa passed away. I have always regarded him with great respect as a Father figure and much admiration for his kindness and generosity. He was God's instrument for making it possible for me to have a brighter future. He helped bring our family (Noly and family) to this country for a better life. In the community life, his spirit of hard work and dedication inspires me. We lost a great man, but he leaves behind an unforgettable spirit! I am thankful to God that he was a part of my life.

Dr. Pedro Fernandez Lagrosa was an amazing man and mentor. I knew him for 30 years and throughout them all I cannot remember a time that he ever turned away from being there to help and heal others. Has a young woman I began my medical career with and internship with Dr. Lagrosa. There he taught me valuable lessons I have passed to several generations of future healers in the medical field. I remember him as a being a funny and thoughtful, loving and caring man, who would travel to the Philippines to provide help and medical aid to people in need. There are not many men who grow to be as successful as Pedro Lagrosa yet remain compassionate and caring for others. The heavens are fortunate to welcome him to the throne and without out a doubt he has earned his seat next to our Lord, inspiring all around him to become better and give more. He will be greatly missed.

Our deepest sympathy to Dr. Lagrosa Family.  He was always so kind to my mom she will truly miss him.  He had the biggest  heart,  I will always be greatful  to him for the care he gave my mom.  He will be truly missed by many.

I have had the privilege of knowing and living with my Uncle Pete and Auntie Mely for 2 mos upon moving to So Cal from NJ as a new M.D.  He was always an inspiration to me and continues to make me aspire to do better things for the world.  He was such a generous and giving person, and he gave everything he had for a better world till the very end.  R.I.P., Uncle.  We will miss you and we thank you for your all you have given us and the world!

I have had the honor and privilege of knowing and living with my Uncle Pete and Auntie Mely for 2 months upon arriving from the East Coast as a new MD.  He continues to be an inspiration to me due to his generous and kind spirit and ability to be "proactive".  His God-loving spirit and mission to serve the poor and needy in the Philippines should be an example for us all.  I am just sorry that I wasn't able to join him on one of his medical missions.  

Thank you, Uncle Pete, for touching my life and for making a positive impact in our world!  Rest in Peace and watch over us down here!

I first met Pete many years ago when he hosted the visit of my sister in law Tubby Fernandez. He was always warm and hospitable and took care that visitors in his beautiful hilltop home were well taken cared of. The last time I saw him was at the retreat in his home which drew many caring folks.

As a medical colleague I appreciated his great work done in the Phillipines with the group he had assembled to help the rural communities. 

My heart goes out to Pete's family, a caring close knit one. Our family will miss his presence greatly.

May his soul rest in peace.
