

Robert was born in St Louis, Missouri. After moving to CA, he joined the seminary but decided to pursue married life instead. He met Betty and fell madly in love. He loved to write her poetry and they enjoyed 50 wedded years of love together that produced 6 children, 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He enjoyed working as an accountant and loved to boost employee morale during the holidays. Birthdays and holidays like Christmas and Easter were very joyful and important in the Stevenson home. He always ensured his Catholic faith was first and forefront in his and his family’s lives. He enjoyed teaching youth, cantoring, and was a Eucharistic Minister. He recently joined the Knights of Columbus and bible studies and loved being a part of the Church Choir. After retiring, he enjoyed his all time passion of singing ~ and dressed as Elvis! He sang at parish carnivals and at retirement homes. He will be greatly missed by family and all those he touched with his wisdom and humor.]
