She graduated from Salem Center High School in 1944. Alice moved to Los Angeles, California. There she met and married George M. LeRoy. They moved to San Luis Obispo so George could attend college at Cal Poly. After college they eventually settled in Sacramento where George worked for the state. Alice decided to finish her education.
She received a degree from Sacramento City College and Sacramento State.
Alice was active in bowling, golf, mahjong, pinochle, and bridge, where she made many friends. She was also an avid gardener.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon at a later date.
