Emily, age 99, of Sacramento, CA passed away peacefully on April 2nd surrounded by loved ones. She was born on March 17th in Sacramento to Italo and Penelope Nannini. Emily attended Sac High School and continued on to spend many of her working years as a secretary for various companies such as the International Harvester, County Supervisors & Veterans Associations and finally for US Fish and Wildlife Service.
She met the love of her life, Gino Ziliotto, and married in 1950. Together they enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling and raising a family.
She was predeceased by her husband Gino, brother Rico, and daughter, Nancy. She is survived by her granddaughter, Julianna.
Emily was a dedicated wife, mother, Nana, and Auntie. She was well loved by many friends that were lucky to have known her. She leaves an empty place in our hearts, but her charming, humour and loving spirit will always remain.
A mass will be held on 4/21/2025 at St. Mary's Church on 58th & M St. at 1PM, then entombment at St. Mary's Mausoleum to follow.
