He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years Margaret; his children Filipe Maurice, and Marcy (Salvador); grandchildren Jovany, Mateo, Maurice, Vivian, and Valeria; sister Maryann (Mario) and brother Jose; 10 great grandchildren, 6 nieces and 2 nephews.
Filipe retired from the City of Sacramento with 25 years of service. He was a hardworking man, always ensuring his family was taken care of. The joys of his life were his grandchildren and working in his yard. A Visitation will be held at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd., Sacramento, CA on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 with recitation of rosary at 7:00. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Church, 1333 58th St., Sacramento, CA on Tues., February 6, 2018 at 11:00. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
