It is with devastated broken hearts and great sadness that the family of Florence Rohrbach announce her death at the age of 80.
Unfortunate circumstances and the complications therein, befell her. She endured a real struggle related to Dementia as well.
Flo's blessed soul has risen to the dawn of a new day. Reunited with the very best caregiver of her life... husband, Carl Rohrbach. Mom was longing so..for her one and only true love.
Predeceased by her parents, all sisters, and husband Carl. Lovingly survived by two sons, Steve and Monte (Kathy) Rohrbach; five grandsons, J.R., Trevor, Curt, Sean (Bianca) and Kier (Carrie) Rohrbach; one great-grandson, Charlie. Beloved sister-in-law to Vernon, Melvin, Leroy Rohrbach and Delena Schumacher.
Retired food service manager with S.C.U.S.D. She was the 'adored lunch lady' at many local elementary schools.
Amongst her passions were ceramics, card making, scrapbooking, needlework, knitting, cooking, baking and serving the Lord through her Lutheran Faith.
She treasured all her life long friendships and Mom's generosity was limitless.
Fiercely protective, supportive and so loving of her five grandsons. They were all her 'little honeys' and at the center of her universe.
Mom was the glue that held this family together.
Gramma, you were a perfect reflection of God's Love and you shall now be wrapped in the comfort of His good grace for all eternity.
We celebrate a 'life well lived' and all the love you gave us... but those precious memories with you Mom...are the joys that will comfort and save us.
Memorial service on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 12:30pm at Harry Nauman and Son, 4041 Freeport Blvd.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you all 'enjoy your life and treasure each new day.'
