Loving uncle peacefully passed away on April 15 surrounded by his family. Frank was born on March 30, 1923 in Sacramento to the late Dante and Martina Galli. He was preceded in death by his devoted sister, Elvira, brother Robert and sister-in-law Louise Galli. Frankie (as we all called him) will be greatly missed by his cherished nieces and nephew Roberta Kassis (William) and Katherine Galli.
The light of Frankie’s world were his grand nieces and nephews; Kimberly Griffin (Thomas), Kristen Kassis Shullenberger (Luke), Kolleen McNamee (Pete), Robert Kassis (Wendy) and Kathryn Zwiebel (Drew). His family loved hearing stories about his service in the U.S. Army, adventures abroad and the simplicity of his 90 years living. Frank loved sitting around the dinner table and watching the interactions of his large extended family. Family was the center of Frank’s universe. His greatest joy was to be in the midst of his nine great-great nieces and nephews as he proudly kept track of all their sports events and activities. He could always remind you of whose birthday was next and he proudly showed off photos of all of his KIDS!! Brien Griffin, Matthew Griffin, Faith McNamee, Jordan Shullenberger, Miley McNamee, Cole Shullenberger, Ellie Zwiebel, Kiera McNamee and Jack Zwiebel.
