Gerald Abraham Gordon

Gerald Abraham Gordon, 94 years old, tragically passed away at a Board and Care home in Lincoln, CA at 5:30 am on January 28, 2025 due to congestive heart failure. He was a resident of Sun City Lincoln and is survived by his daughter, Stefanie Gordon, his son, Tony Sando, and three nieces. He was a loving father, grandfather, husband, uncle, and friend.

Gerald Gordon was born on May 5, 1930 in Bronx, New York and grew up in Queens with his parents and 2 brothers, Murray and Leon, before moving to California in 1959.

He served in the US Army for 2 years. He majored in psychology and received a master’s degree. He had a career doing various managment analytical jobs, including social work with the State of NY and the federal government.

He married Judy Stein in 1962, brought her son, Tony with him and moved back to NY and Stefanie was born on New Jersey in 1964.

He lived a long wonderful life and enjoyed bowling, poker, dining out, going to live shows, enjoyed music, old movies, traveling, and playing chess on his computer.

My father was a man who was dearly loved by many people in his community and will be immensely missed.

He will be laid to rest on February 10, 2025 at the Home of Peace cemetery located at 6200 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA at 2;00 pm.
