Harold Glen Dahl passed away on December 31, 2021 at the age of 73 after a courageous battle against cancer. He was surrounded by those he loved who will continue to honor his legacy by living a life dedicated to Jesus Christ and joyful service to Him.
Born to Harold Norman and Glenyce Jean Dahl on April 6, 1948, Harold was a graduate of McClatchy High school in 1966. Harold went on to serve in the Army for four years. He served in Korea, which is where he met his beautiful bride, Min. Upon honorable discharge, he then worked for the post office for 37 years. After his retirement, he went back to school to complete his Associate of Arts degree in Social Sciences and as a Paralegal from American River College. He also earned certification in computer repair.
He was a positive man who never held a grudge and he lived a life of gratitude, knowing that every blessing came from God. It was the simple things in life that brought great joy to Harold. He loved a good hamburger and Gunther’s butter brickle and black raspberry marble ice cream. He loved being outdoors and could be found hiking in Tahoe and Yosemite with his best friend John and son-in-law Louis. Westerns, classic movies, and Star Trek were his favorites, but it was board games with his grandchildren and time spent with family where his heart was.
Harold is survived by his loving wife Min and daughters Jean Pagnone and Diana McGee. He dearly loved his grandchildren Eva and Luca Pagnone and Calvin, Micah, and Hannah McGee.
A private burial with family will be held at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon. Please contact the family directly for information on a Celebration of Life service. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Grace Bible Church Fair Oaks are deeply appreciated.
