Jane was born February 8, 1932 in Nouglas, AZ to James Henry Pepper and Lula May Bufkin Pepper, entered into rest on June 3, 2014 in Sacramento, CA. Jane served as Chief Deputy Public Administrator of Sacramento County. Later Jane received an Associates of Arts degree from Cosumnes River College. Jane was a connoisseur of fine antique purses, master knitter > ocean lover. Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband William Paul Thompson and her granddaughter Jerusalem Bettis. She is survived by her daughters Patricia Ann Pepper-Thompson (Duane) and Paula Diane Thompson; grandchildren Gabriel Bettis (Ruth), Elias Bettis (Frances), Caleb Hughes (Maria) and Seraphina Vazquez; great grandchildren Kayla Bettis, Sean Bettis, Isaac Hughes, Cerina Gonzalez and Sophia Gonzalez.
Family and friends are welcome to a Visitation on Tues. June 10 from 4-7pm and Funeral Service on Wed. June 11 at 11am at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd.
