Jessica M Jones

Jessica, 48 of Sacramento passed away in her home on Tuesday, May 31, 2016. She is survived by her mother, Tasi Jones, her sister Krissy Green, her two nephews, Gavin and Griffin Green, and her beloved dog, Koda. She had a special gift with animals. She has numerous cousins residing in the Sacramento area and all loved her dearly. Her main passion throughout the years has been her love of family, friends and as they all know, Koda, who was not just her dog but like her son and companion who she loved very much. She dedicated most of the last few years to her job at Eppie’s Great Race and Foundation. She truly adored working for Eppie and his son, George Johnson, who treated her like family. She had been an avid horseback rider for many years and was well known for her warm quick smile. She was always joking with her friends and loved her home more than anything and loved her dear neighbors. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her and everyone whose life she touched. We love you “Jessy” and we will never forget you and you will be in our thoughts every day. Family and friends are invited to a Trisagion at 7:00pm on Thursday, June 9 at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, with the funeral service on Friday, June 10 at 11am at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 600 Alhambra Blvd, Sacramento. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Jessy’s name to the Eppie’s Great Race Foundation.
