Michael Jon Graves Jr.

Michael Jon Graves Jr. 41 of Sacramento Ca. passed away May 15,2023. Mike “Junior” son of Michael Sr. and Corazon Graves is survived by his son Grant, his parents, brother Calvin William, sisters Maria Isabel , Mary Ann, Cor, Cel, his fiancée Nicole and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Mike Jr. was a veteran of the Marine Core with honorable discharge and numerous awards. Before enlisting he was an accomplished media personality producing and hosting local cable programs through his high school years. He was a 15-year member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 46 as a certified welder and worked in the union door industry as an installer. Michael was truly a great man whose impact on his friends and family will never be forgotten. The holes left in our hearts will forever be felt. He was a true friend, full of love, support, and kindness. He had a wild, free spirit that spread joy and excitement to those he knew best. A viewing will be held Thursday June 1, 4-7:30PM on Friday June 2, at 11am viewing will also be held followed by a service at 12pm at the Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral home. 5401 Folsom Blvd Sacramento Ca 95819. There will also be a military Salute prior to the burial at 2pm at the East Lawn Cemetery at 4300 Folsom Blvd Sacramento Ca 95819. Drinks and food will be available at the SacYard Community Tap House from 3-5pm at 1725 33rd St, Sacramento Ca 95816.
