Michael was born in Detroit, MI, to Tadeusz and Alice Majewski and passed away at the age of 63 on September 5, 2016, in Lake Tahoe, NV. Since 1991, Michael spent his career as a Research Chemist with the U.S. Geological Survey in Sacramento, CA, where he resided. In his spare time, Michael enjoyed scuba diving, photography, woodworking, gardening, and earlier spent time practicing Aikido. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Kiyoshi Ono and is survived by his wife, Linda Ono, mother-in-law, Violet Ono, brother Gregory Majewski (Linda), sister Krystyna Majewski (Frank), numerous extended family members, including aunts, uncle, and cousins, and his beloved cat, Remy. Michael ‘s kindness, sense of humor, and endearing qualities will always be remembered by the people whose lives he touched. We love and miss him dearly.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at the Buddhist Church of Sacramento, 2401 Riverside Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95818.
