Neil was born to the late Evelyn and Herman Mueller, July 23, 1952, in Sacramento, CA. A 1970 graduate of C.K. McClatchy High School , Neil married Louise Kronick in 1983. They enjoyed 30 years together in his Land Park childhood home.
Neil was a commercial painter and artist who owned his own business, Project Painting Company. His work can be seen in many of the beautiful homes in the Sacramento area. Incredibly talented at what he did, Neil was passionate about his craft. He enjoyed every day that he was able to work.
An avid sports fan, Neil often attended Giants games, was a Sacramento Kings season ticket holder for many years, and loved the 49ers.
Neil's true passion was his family, his beautiful wife Louise and his loving children, Paige and Kipp. Louise, Paige and Kipp were the light of his life. He cherished their time together.
Neil was an eternal optimist who brought a contagious sense of joy and happiness to everyone he knew. He saw life as a precious gift and was grateful for every moment. When you spoke with Neil, you couldn't help but feel happy. Even when asked about his illness, he would only express gratitude for what he had, and would never complain about his condition or circumstance. People who knew Neil will always remember first and foremost his positive attitude.
He loved golf, his dog Gizmo and cats, taking road trips, cruises and Hawaiian vacations with his family.
Neil is survived by his wife Louise, daughter Paige, son Kipp, sister Joan Brenning, brother Gary Mueller, as well as nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
