I always remember my mom and Rebecca up to their elbows in turkey leavings, making turkey soup after Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. I can conjure up the picture now. It was always so wonderful getting to blend our families for the holidays.

 I know it would be great to be able to continue that tradition. Alas, we all have new families that we have to consider. 

Nevertheless, I love remembering and reminiscing about all of our great times. 

I hope to be able to see the rest of the family during the holidays.

Julie and Jackie, 
Our lives were brought together by the most wonderful friendship our parents had with each other.  I know that Mom and Dad loved your Mother and Father most of their lives.  Our Mothers were so close that they even had their babies close together.  They babysat for each other, they had dinners and costume parties together and I even remember when mom and dad had a luau party when we were just kids.
When Connie and I were young, Rebecca took us, along with Jackie, to the bowling alley and taught us to bowl.  Becky and Jack were great bowlers. 
 Mom called Becky and kept in touch with all of you through her bragging .  She had pictures and news articles about your Son playing golf.  Rebecca was so proud of her family.  
I am so sorry for your loss and I know she won't be forgotten.  She is in a better place now and I'm sure their foursome is reunited again.  Jack is playing the mandolin and singing, Becky,  Mom and Dad are enjoying all the memories they made together.  May they all rest in peace.

When I married Jack’s brother, Frank, Rebecca welcomed me to the family with open arms. She immediately made sure that I felt comfortable with everyone in the family. What really made it special for me was her making my family a part of her family. I remember my mom and Rebecca working on holiday meals together, then stripping the turkey for soup the next day. They laughed and enjoyed each other as the sisters that neither of them had. We had virtually all our holidays together, and she even welcomed my niece and her new husband one year!
When my mom died, Rebecca became my “other mother.” But we were like sisters also.

I had the pleasure of caring for Rebecca at Carlton Senior living. 
We met right after she moved in. 
I think that we had a special bond from the start. Rebecca looked for me & asked about me almost daily, even though she couldn’t remember my name. She was such a sweet lady. She will always have a special place in my heart. I am thankful that I was able to be a  part of her life story! RIP Rebecca
