When Rickie met Lupe in 2009, it changed his life forever. He proposed at Dillons beach, and they got married in 2015. They created a beautiful family and raised three children together. He was a loving partner, father, son, cousin and friend. If you knew Rickie, you knew he was fearless, living life on the edge. You could describe Rickie as passionate and a protector. Always putting his loved ones first and always there at the drop of a dime. For Rickie, family was not only about whose blood you carried, it was about who you loved and who loved you back. Rickie was happiest when he was with his family. Some of the things he enjoyed were being at the beach, fireworks, cars, woodworking, fishing and especially … gardening. Rickie was survived by his wife Lupe; his children Ziona, Aeliyah and lil Rickie; Granddaughter Zamora; parents Cindy and Rickie; Siblings Raeanne, Gabrielle, Marcus and Nicholas. We will cherish the memories of Rickie, and although we can’t describe Rickie in a few short paragraphs, he will always be a missing part of our heart. Rickie will be missed and loved forever.
A funeral service for Rickie will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95819.
