Theodora Yazigi passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on October 30, 2021 at age 87. A native Sacramentan, Theodora was thoughtful, inquisitive and intelligent, and a devoted mother and loyal friend to all who knew her. She served as an Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church Sunday School Director and teacher for many many years. Theodora is survived by her daughters Maria Calvert and Elaina Magana (Gary), granddaughter Mary Calvert, sister Tina Clubb, many nieces and nephews, cousins and her goddaughter Laura Wood. She was loved by all and will be missed greatly. A special thanks to Sutter Hospice staff and caregiver Danielle Fabyunkey, for their wonderful care and compassion. Services will be held at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 600 Alhambra Blvd, Sacramento,CA. Trisagion: Tuesday, November 9 at 7:00pm. Funeral: Wednesday, November 10 at 11:00am.
