Bamford, Thomas Lee, 70, lost his battle with heart failure and was called to the Lord on March 11th 2015. Tom, the beloved son of Bud and Millie, is survived by his wife Judy, his brother Bob, his sister-in-law Norberta, his daughters; Staci, Erin and Tanya, his sons; Todd, Casey, Alex and Mike, a wealth of grandchildren, nieces, nephew, and countless friends whom love him dearly. A lifetime resident of Sacramento, Tom was a shrewd business man that made his mark in the manufactured home sales industry. However, his economic accomplishments pale in comparison to the impact that this big hearted man made on his community through his work with the St. Vincent DePaul society at St. Joseph’s Church. A proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Tom had a profound impact on all that had the good fortune to cross his path. Whether a blood relative of his, or one of the countless surrogate children that have had the privilege to consider Tom a father, we all know one thing to be true; never has a more genuine and true individual walked this earth. As you read this and the tears begin to swell, remind yourself not to cry for Tom, for he is off to a more beautiful place. Shed tears for those of us left behind, for this world is a much better place with men such as Thomas Bamford in it. He will be truly missed by all of us.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday March 18th at 5:00pm at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home at 5401 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, California, followed by a Rosary at 7:00pm. Services will be held on Friday March 20th 2015 at 10:00 am at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1717 El Monte Ave. Sacramento, California. A burial will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, 6700 21st Ave. Sacramento, California. All are welcome to attend and join us in celebrating Tom’s wonderful life.
