Beloved son of the late Henry and Ruth (nee Ryan) Welsh; brother of Dorothy Ludwig, Charles Welsh, and the late Gene and George Welsh; uncle; great uncle, cousin, and friend.
Danny was a materials handler at Hussman Corp for 40 years and retired in 2005. He was an avid New York Yankees baseball fan for 60 years and loved to be seen wearing Yankees t-shirs, hats, and coats in the city of the St. Louis Cardinals. He never forgave them for trading Enos Slaughter to the Yankees in 1954 when he forever thereafter became a Yankees fan. He will be buried in a Yankees jersey and hat.
Services: Friends may visit from noon until time of service at 1 pm at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in St. Louis.
