Robert L Kidd

Bob Kidd made his transition into eternal life at the age of 72 on December 30, 2013. He was married to Florence (Toots) his beloved wife for 52 years. He was a loving father to Chris Kidd of Florissant, Mo, Mary (Philip) Partridge of El Paso, Tx, grandfather of Robby Partridge. He was preceded in death by his son Joe Kidd of Hobbs NM. Bob is survived by three sisters, Judy Gaines of Edwardsville, Il, Janet (John) Zimmerman of Freeburg, Il, Jeanne (Rick) Whiting of St. Louis and five Sister-in-Laws, Mary (Tom) Rodgers of Florissant, Mo, Sister Teresa Reichmuth, CPPS of O'Fallon, Mo, JoAnn (Ed) Remes of Cedar Hills, Mo, Carol Schneiderheinze of Calvert, Tx, Toni Ripa of Salem, Mo and multiple nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his loving dog Holly.

He was an Anesthetist for 41 years, 32 of those years he worked in Hobbs, and Lovington, NM. Prior to Hobbs he served in the U.S. Army. Bob was best known for his smile, sense of humor, kindness and concern for others. He was quick to befriend a stranger. Bob was an avid fan of the Hobbs Eagle basketball team and attended games whether at home or away.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Road, St Ann, Mo. Internment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
