Shirley Mae Long (nee DeLuca), 84, formerly of Bridgeton, MO passed away peacefully on Monday, August 15, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Elizabeth (nee Skiles) DeLuca; loving husband of 63 years, Robert Francis Long; sister, Patricia Lackey; and brother, Vincent DeLuca, Jr. Shirley is survived by her children, Claire (Dusty) Herman, Robert Long, Jr., Donald (Jackie) Long, and William (Bonnie) Long; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.
Shirley and Robert were passionate and accomplished bowlers for many years. She was a very outgoing and feisty woman who never met a stranger. She loved her family dearly from the immediate family to the extended family. Her strong spirit will be really missed.
