Frank Charles Arena

Frank joined the Army in 1941. He met the love of his life Julia in 1946. They married in 1948 and went on the have 2 sons. They were married for 73 years. Frank retired from the US Post Office and Independence Bank. He was a Past Grand Knight, lead usher at 10:00 am mass at St Catherine’s of Siena, a member of the Italian American Club. He loved playing Bocce ball, cards, and bingo.

He is predeceased by his wife Julia. He is survived by his sons Charles (Maryann) and Frank (Sue), 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Brooks Assisted Living for the care and patience with Frank. He will be missed by family and friends. He will always be remembered as the King of the Road.

A visitation for Frank will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens St. Johns, 1285 St. Johns Parkway, St. Johns, FL 32259. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 10:30 AM at San Juan del Rio Catholic Church, 1718 State Road 13, St. Johns, FL 32259. A graveside service will occur Monday, July 10, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32218.
