

John George Jacobs, Sr, 60, (February 26, 1963 - November 16, 2023) was born in Somerville, NJ and grew up in the Skillman section of Montgomery Township. He was a member of the Class 1981 from Montgomery High. He was a professional painter most of his life. John was one of the founding family members of Bronz-Glow Technologies, Inc. when he moved to Florida in 1989 and worked there until his death. He also started another side painting business named Pinstripe Painting after his favorite baseball team.
John’s biggest passion in life was the love of his family and the NY Yankees, he spent many times at the Stadium with his family and friends when he lived in New Jersey. John was always quick with a wit and loved to laugh and make sure anyone around him did.
He was in a series auto accident back in 2021 that left many lasting injuries. He was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer in May 2023 and had 5 weeks of Radiation and Chemotherapy in October. He was doing well from that but had passed from an undetected Pulmonary Embolism and a Phlebothrombosis of the Lower Extremity at his home.
He was predeceased by his Father John J. Jacobs, Jr. (1932-1988) Mother Patricia A. Walker Jacobs (1937-2014). He is survived by his older sisters Darlene A. Gill (Robert), Linda L. Bielamowicz (Michael), younger brother David G. Jacobs. His two children Jennifer M. and John G. Jacobs, Jr. (Falen), Nieces Julia, Patrica and Nicole and two granddaughters Apha and Atlas.
A private viewing was held on November 25, 2023. A Celebration Mass of Life will be held at Resurrection Catholic Church, located at 3383 University Blvd North, Jacksonville, FL 32277 at 12 pm on Friday, January 05, 2024. A second Mass Celebration of his life to be held on February 24, 2024 at 11 am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church,54 E. Prospect Street, Hopewell, NJ. 08525. His cremated remains will be buried alongside his parents at St. Bernard Cemetery located at 351 Route 28, Bridgewater, NJ.
