It is with intense sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our son, Kyle John Lambert. Kyle John Lambert, 12 years old, passed away on February 17, 2026 in St. Johns, Florida. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida and will be forever remembered by his entire family, his friends, and his community.
Kyle is survived by his loving father, Arlington Perry Lambert III and his adoring mother, Mishele Lee Hart (Harold “Buzzy” W. Neil, Jr.), his protective sister, Bella Angelina Lambert, and his twin brother, Luke Perry Lambert. He is also survived by his grandmother, Nancy McDaniel Lambert “Nana” as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who all loved him dearly.
Kyle was predeceased by his beloved Grandmother “Babci”, Carolyn Frances Hart, and his grandfathers, John “Jack” David Hart and Arlington “Sonny” Perry Lambert Jr, and Great Grandparents, Frances Zofija Dlugosz “PraBabci” and Ernest R. McDaniel “Gramps”.
Kyle attended school at Patriot Oaks Academy and was in the 7th grade. He was known for being a funny kid who was always happy and smiling. He was an A/B student who loved the social aspects of school and his classmates the best. Kyle took karate at Tersak’s for 3 years and achieved his brown belt. After karate, Kyle played basketball for I-9 Sports. Then football came calling, Kyle loved playing flag football with his brother for the last year. His parents and sister loved watching both brothers play and support one another.
Kyle’s parents loved and wanted him before he was even conceived. They went through extensive fertility treatments to have him. They were blessed with him and doubly blessed because he had a twin. His sister had been an only child for almost eight years but she welcomed both brothers and became the fiercest protector of them both. Kyle was loved every day of his life and will continue to be loved for the rest of ours.
Kyle was cherished by his siblings. His sister was like a second mom to him. She has always been nurturing and protective of him as well as being the first to correct him when needed. Her guidance and love for him knows no bounds. Kyle’s twin brother was his best friend. They have that twin bond and it was evident in their relationship. If you saw Kyle, his brother was close by. The three of them schemed, confided, and protected one another always. The loss of their brother is a sadness that is palpable.
As Kyle’s parents, we could not have imagined a more beautiful son, inside and out. Kyle carried the spirit of empathy, compassion and generosity through his daily life. He has always been in tune with his emotions and others. No one ever had to guess how Kyle was feeling. He loved fiercely, openly and wholly. Being affectionate and loving toward his family was something that he gave to us all day long. Even into his preteens when most boys don’t. His warm hugs and intense love will be missed daily by his mom, dad, stepdad, sister, and brother.
Kyle is the perfect boy. He is feisty, sensitive, strong, loving, polite, caring, funny, happy, beautiful and independent. His parents would always get comments from adults praising how polite he was toward them. Treating people well in the world was important to him. Kyle didn’t just talk about anything that was important to him, he lived it. He wanted to live life to the fullest. He embraced adventure and was always up to experience new things. He loved traveling, playing with his friends, listening to music, and he always had an idea or a thought to share. Kyle was very good at art. He loved sketching and drawing. He would share his drawing with friends and make his own birthday invitations. His sharing and insight were beyond his 12 years of living and will be sorely missed by all.
The bright light that he brought to our family, his friends and this world has dimmed since his passing. We will forever mourn not experiencing him grow into the amazing man he was destined to be but we know that he left a lasting impact on the lives he touched. Kyle carried the love of life with him and shared that with everyone around him. A devoted son, brother and friend, Kyle left us far too soon but is leaving a legacy of love, giving and quick wit that will never be forgotten. We will hold close all of the precious memories of his life and will carry his name forward on a daily basis.
Due to the overwhelming outpouring of love and support, the family has chosen to have a Celebration of Life for Kyle at his school, Patriot Oaks Academy, in St. Johns, Florida. The Celebration of Life will be held on March 1, 2026 from 11 am - 1 pm. The family would love for everyone who has been touched by our son or loved him to come and honor him and support us.
Kyle’s family is very grateful for all the love and concern that they have received. They have chosen to hold a service of close family and friends only. Thank you for honoring their wishes.
To continue Kyle’s legacy of compassion and giving, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the https://www.gofundme.com/f/honoring-kyles-legacy-9phut in lieu of flowers.
