Robert John Berzito

Robert John Berzito, 68, of St. Augustine, Florida, formerly from New Jersey, passed away due to a long illness. Robert proved himself a warrior, in his battle against cancer. He surrendered peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 13, 2023.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ Bob lived most of his life in Lincroft, NJ. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family. Because of his sweet tooth, he was named Bobby Desserts. He mastered the art of baking biscotti.

Robert served in the US Navy, was a member of the International Union of Painters and was employed by the State of New Jersey.

Robert was pre-deceased by his parents, Michael & Lilias Berzito, his brothers, Pasquale and James, and his sister Jemima.

He is survived by his loving wife Margo (Spirito) Berzito, his daughter Jessica Marie Berzito and Grandson Robert Francis Berzito along with his cherished sister, Teresa Schneider, brother-in-law, William Schneider, sister-in-laws, Beverlyanne Sporer and Toni Morgan, along with many nieces and nephews.

The Celebration of Bobby’s life will be held on Friday, July 21st between the hours of 2:00pm to 6:00pm at the home of Neal and Toni Morgan, 105 Windsor Drive, Eatontown, NJ 07724.
