Dear Vaughn Family,
Betty was a REAL, caring person and a  friend to the whole world! I admired her for being a woman in business and  owning her own company, Century 21 Vaughn. One time, she had a young couple that the bank turned down for a loan on a small home that was one of my listings. Their little girl wanted a yard with a swingset. The buyer, Betty and I drove the little girl over to visit the President of the bank. We rehearsed with the little girl about what she was to say to the Banker. The little girl's leg braces squeaked across the marble lobby of the bank. When we met the banker, the little girl said, "Why can't I have the yard with the swingset"? The Banker told her that he would look into it and see what he could do. Their loan was approved and the little girl got her swingset. It is a sad day for the Real Estate Community. We lost one of our BEST! Well done faithful servant. You have earned your ultimate goal. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. With sympathy and love,

My dear Aunt Betty:
Who I loved so very much. 
My Aunt always believed in the positive side of mankind.
She shared her skills with me and taught me how to sell Real Estate.
The word can't was not part of her vocabulary. 
She was an amazing woman; once after taking me to an audition to the St Louis Music Conservatory and I did not quite make it, she Said to me "don't worry about that What the Hell do they Know"!!
We will miss her. I love you Aunt Betty!!

My Aunt Betty! Your indomitable spirit will forever be a part of my soul. I remember always getting excited when Aunt Betty came around! I pray God's peace is with all of the family. I'll always remember the very last word you said to me - "love".  I love you.

We are sorry for your family's loss.  While we did not know Berry, we have heard many stories and we know that she will live on in the minds of her great family and friends.

Dear Gary, Barb and Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother, Betty. I know how difficult the first year can be, but the love of friends and family and good memories will help carry you through. My heart is with you.

She was the best friend of my Aunt when I first moved to Missouri. She was also the Aunt to the woman I later met , married and had 2 Sons with. She always treated me just like the rest of the Kids while growing up. I will truely miss you Aunt Betty, RIP.

There was no one like Aunt Betty.  Our family matriarch who loved us all.  She was so proud of all her family.  We will always remember her spunk, energy, laugh and that mischievous but beautiful smile!    Aunt Betty you are missed and loved so much.  Love, Joy and Maynard

My dear, sweet sister Betty Lou.  My second Mama, the one I always went to.  I will love you forever and miss you so much.  We always wanted to travel together and we were able to some, and we will again. We enjoyed trips to Michigan and Omaha together and had so much fun at her place at the lake.  I remember her steering that big pontoon boat, always able to manuver it out of the cove.  Nothing she couldn't do.

My dear, sweet Aunt Betty.  This is how I will remember you, looking so good and smiling so sweetly.  Although you have slowly slipped from us the past several years we are still not ready to say goodbye.  We know we will see you again someday and we celebrate your new birth in heaven.  We know you are back to your spunky self now, dancing, celebrating and living life in eternity. Love you dearly Aunt Betty Lou.  Janie
