Judy Michelle Barton Gurlen is resting peacefully in the arms of her Savior on October 21, 2015 at the age of 49. Beloved daughter of Glenda Teeples and the late Jesse Wayne Barton, Sr. Cherished mother of Mandy (Tony) Bockstruck and Lyndsi Gurlen; dear sister of Jesse (Theresa) Barton, Jr., Allison (Don) Kraher, Jamie (David) Whitney and Billy (Jenny) Teeples. Dearest aunt, niece, cousin and friend to many.
Judy fought bravely for four and half years to be able to remain in the lives of her beloved family. She loved nothing more than spending time with her daughters, mother and adoring nieces, hanging out, going to Grant’s Farm, having brunch, giving advice and just being with them all. She will be forever missed, and never forgotten.
A funeral service will be held at Hoffmeister South County Chapel on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 5:00 P.M.
Visitation from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service. Interment is private.
