

STANLEY A. FREDERIKSEN went home to be with Jesus on November 1, 2010. He was born 99 years ago on April 23, 1911. Beloved husband to the late Mary Ellen Frederiksen. Dear father to James (Marilynn) and Neal (Barbara) Frederiksen and the late Lynne Thompson. Loving grandfather to John and Paul Frederiksen, Britt (Brian) Holmes, Jesse Thompson and Elizabeth (Joseph) Zarosa. Great grandfather to Zachary, Jacob and Nicholas (his "little bowling balls" he called them). His sister, Venus Schattyn, survives him. He also leaves behind nephews, nieces, cousins, sister-in-law and good friends.
Stan served in WWII as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy, stationed in the southwest Pacific. He was a 75-year long Mason, a member of Beacon Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star. He was also a lifetime Board member for the Public Revenue Education Council. A 40-year employee of Mallinckrodt Chemical, he retired as Marketing manager for their specialty agricultural (turf products) division.
Funeral service will be held at Sat. Nov. 6, 11 AM (with viewing at 10:30 AM) at First Presbyterian Church of Ferguson 401 Darst Road, Ferguson, MO where for 28 years he served as choir director and organist. A reception in Stan's honor will immediately follow the service in Fellowship Hall with a private interment scheduled at 1:30 PM at Laurel Hill cemetery, Pennsylvania and Natural Bridge Road.
