William Earl French Jr, 71, of Cahokia, Illinois, passed away on February 14, 2018. He was born on June 9, 1946, in St. Louis, Mo. William French Jr was a member of International Bakers Union. Surviving his wife of 17 years Virginia Ann French; Two daughters by Sharon Scott, Michelle French and Deanna (Bob) Breece. Also two sons by Wanda French, William Earl French III, Brian French, Two step children Terry Cole and Tammy (Bill) Bird. Two step children from Virginia French, Michelle (Mike) Rouse and Kimberly (John) Stell. 18 grandchildren and 11 1/2 great-grandchildren. Surviving his one brother George (Helen) French, Two sisters Karen (Joe) Shepherd, and Barb French/Land. He was proceeded in death by his parents William Earl French and Geraldine Bridgett/French, two brothers Johnny French and Robert French, and one sister Kathie Christion.
Visitation is from 4-8 pm, Monday, February 19, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd, St Louis, Mo. 63125. Funeral Service is 11:30 am Tuesday, February 19, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
