Loving husband of the late Evangeline Glass. Dear father of Martin (Beverly), John (Barbara), and William Glass Jr. and Charlene (Bruce) Connor; beloved grandfather of Steven (Margaret), Martin II (Starr), De’andra (Jeff), Emily, Mark, Erin, Derek (Priscilla), and Megan; loving great grandfather of Noelle, Maria, Nathan, and Josef; dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Mr. Glass was preceeded in death by his parents Wilhelm and Lisette (Frank) Glass and a daughter-in-law Nancy.
Mr. Glass was an Army veteran of WWII, a member of American legion Post #141, V.F.W. Post 4223, D.A.V. St. Louis Chapter #1, The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and a retired 40 year employee of the Missouri Pacific Railroad.
Funeral services will be 9:30 A.M. Tuesday, April 10, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., where the family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M. Monday. Interment, with full military honors, in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Band Together for Mark c\o Charlene Connor, 1612 W. Main, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
