MIDDLETON -Andrew (“Andy”) Francis Misiura, Jr., age 57, of Middleton, Entered into rest on September 8, 2024, at the age of 57. He was the beloved husband of Bryna Rosen Misiura. Born in Lynn on March 23, 1967, he was the dear son of Betty Kennedy Misiura and Andrew Francis Misiura, Sr. (dec.).
Andy grew up in Danvers, MA, and won a full academic scholarship to St. John’s Preparatory School, where he graduated in 1985. He also attended Salem State College.
Andy married his teenage sweetheart, Bryna, in 2001, and they purchased their first home in Newton, NH. That was the home they brought their two beautiful, adopted daughters-Bella and Becca-home in 2007 and 2008. In 2014, Andy and Bryna moved their family to Middleton, MA.
Andy worked in the early years as a paralegal, but spent most of his career working as a lead manager in the shipping and receiving department overnight at Essendant in Woburn, MA.
More than anything, Andy loved his “three B’s” – his wife, Bryna, and two daughters, Bella and Becca. He also loved his dogs dearly. He was a fun-loving prankster with a wicked sense of humor, and a master of sarcasm. He loved to cook and had too many successes to count, but the occasional failure was a doozy. He loved all New England Sports – the Patriots, Red Sox and Bruins, not necessarily in that order. He loved photography, music of all types, and particularly loved playing Cribbage with his mother on Sunday afternoons.
Andy was raised Catholic, but he loved supporting his wife and daughters in their Jewish faith, and in participating in the Jewish community at Temple Tiferet Shalom, where Bryna served as President the past three years. Andy loved to volunteer, particularly on Christmas Day every year starting at 1AM with his entire family, serving meals to people in need as part of Project Ezra. He will be dearly missed.
In addition to his beloved wife Bryna, he was the devoted father to Isabella Lynne Misiura (“Bella”) and Rebecca Elizabeth Ariah Misiura (“Becca”). A loving brother to Cherelle Bruno, and her husband Peter Bruno. A loving uncle to Brad McCormack and his partner, Krystle Sweeny, and their son, Emmett. A dear son-in-law to Bernard and Sandra Rosen, and brother-in-law to Evan Rosen and his children, David, Christopher, Jacob and Kaden.
A funeral service will be held at Temple Tiferet Shalom, 489 Lowell Street, Peabody on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 1:00 PM with interment at Lebanon Tifereth Israel Cemetery, Yankee Division Highway, ( off of Rte. 128/95), Peabody. A memorial observance will be held following the interment at Temple Tiferet Shalom in Peabody until 7 PM.
