He is survived by his children David and Elise Dubinsky, Amy and Alan Resnic, and Jeffrey and Susan Dubinsky; and by his cherished grandchildren Stephen Resnic, Melissa and Brandon Coltune, Jonathan Resnic, Joshua Dubinsky, and Robyn Dubinsky. He was also the adored Great Zadie to Lila Coltune, who brought him immense joy.
Arnold was the son of the late Simon and Doris (Froman) Dubinsky, and the brother of the late Jay Dubinsky and Meri Ellis.
Arnold was a true mensch—well respected, deeply trusted, and admired by all who knew him. He was a devoted member of Congregation Ahabat Shalom in Lynn, a synagogue his father helped to establish. There, Arnold spent countless meaningful hours with family and friends and proudly served the congregation as a board member, treasurer, and eventually president.
He was also a longtime board member of the Brotherhood Credit Union and an active participant in the greater Jewish community.
Professionally, Arnold was a principal at Dubinsky & Gleason, CPAs, where he counseled numerous clients throughout Massachusetts—many of whom became lifelong friends.
Above all else, Arnold’s greatest joy was time spent with his grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Whether taking them out for lunch, visiting Salem Willows, Sunday family breakfasts, sharing his love of old coins and stamps, talking about history, or taking a ride to Treadwell’s for pistachio and cherry vanilla ice cream, those moments were his greatest treasure.
Arnold leaves behind a shem tov—a good name—earned through a life of family devotion, professional integrity, and deep commitment to Jewish communal life.
