Barbara Weinbaum

Mrs. Barbara (Greenfield) Weinbaum – of Peabody, Mass entered eternal rest on April 20, 2020 at the age of 92. Barbara was the beloved wife of the late William B. Weinbaum and devoted mother of 4 children; Paula Monahan (Richard) of Dracut, Alan Weinbaum (Leslie) of Springfield, NJ, Judith Twiggs (James) of Pendleton, SC and Marcy Campbell (Robert) of Peabody. She was also the cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Barbara was the oldest daughter of the late Samuel and Bessie (Cohen) Greenfield. She was the loving sister of Marilyn Supovitz of Delray, Fl and Bradley Greenfield of Miami, FL, sister-in-law of Natalie and Mike Shapiro of Delray, FL and had six loving nieces.

Barbara grew up in Portsmouth NH, graduating from Portsmouth High School. She moved to Boston where she met her husband Bill. Barbara worked as a bookkeeper for many years at a local public accountant. Barbara also loved to read, cook and play Mah-Jongg. She was dedicated to her family and loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.

Funeral Services are private due to regulations imposed by the coronavirus pandemic.
