GREENBAUM, BENJAMIN M, –formerly of Salem, Rockport and Marblehead. Entered into rest June 10, 2016 at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Marlene F (Shack) Greenbaum. Dear father of Lois Greenbaum of Salem and Julie Greenbaum and her late partner Chris Ciocca of Malden. Loving brother of Henry Greene and his late wife Renee of FL and the late Gert Shyavitz, Rae Savelle and Morris Greenbaum. Mr. Greenbaum grew up in Lawrence, MA and was a Veteran of WW II, where he served in the 87th Infantry Division in General Patton’s Army. He and his late wife ran a business in Gloucester, MA for 20 years. Upon retirement, he retired to the “snow bird” life; 6 months in Boynton Beach, FL and 6 months in Salem, MA. Funeral services will be held at STANETSKY-HYMANSON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 10 Vinnin St, Salem on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 12 NOON. Interment at Temple Sinai Memorial Park, Buxton Rd, Danvers. Memorial observance will be held following the interment at the Club House at Village Of Vinnin Square, Salem, MA.
