David was born on April 17, 1941 in Boston, Massachusetts. A graduate of Tufts University with a degree in electrical engineering and a minor in philosophy, he was a longtime and loyal employee of General Electric, where his work focused on aircraft safety and turbine design, and where he forged friendships with many colleagues. He was devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren, and was a lifelong Boston sports fan and appreciator of classic cars.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 52 years, Joan Priluck (Ratzkoff); his daughter, Jennifer Davids and her husband, Matthew Davids; grandchildren Emily and Max; and his sister, Eleanor Weitzman and her husband, Steven Weitzman. He was predeceased by his brother Herbert Priluck and his parents, Lilyan and Eli Priluck.
Funeral services will be held at Sharon Memorial Park on Monday, January 19 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
