Harriet Geller

She was the beloved wife of the late Harvey Geller and a devoted mother to Scott Geller of Peabody and Robert Geller and his wife, Pontip, of Thailand. Harriet was the dear sister of Steven Brenner of Henderson, Nevada, and the cherished grandmother of Aaron, Jared, Ariana, and Chanaporn Geller. She was also the loving great-grandmother of Meadow. Harriet was the dear daughter of the late Sidney and Eva Brenner.

Harriet grew up in Revere, where she graduated from Revere High School. She raised her family in Peabody until 1973 and then made her home in Lynnfield.

She began her professional career as a secretary for a local insurance company in Boston, later joining Bjorkman & Lann Real Estate Company in Melrose. Harriet went on to serve as Executive Secretary to the Executive Vice President of U.S. Trust and concluded her distinguished career as a Vice President of U.S. Trust Company.

A founding member and longtime congregant of Temple Beth Shalom in Peabody, Harriet was deeply committed to her faith and community.

In her earlier years, she enjoyed gardening and ice skating. She loved attending yard sales and had a special talent for repurposing clothing through sewing and knitting. Above all, Harriet cherished time spent with her family and friends. The matriarch of her family, she devoted herself to caring for those she loved and found her greatest joy in time spent with her grandchildren, especially taking them to the park.

Harriet will be remembered for her strength, devotion to family, and unwavering love, which will continue to live on in all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery, 98 Canterbury Drive, Peabody on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at 9:00 AM.
