One of the best friends a brother could have.  Gifted in so many ways, the world is at a loss without you.   Till next we meet.   

David and I were shocked and saddened to hear of Matts passing.  Every time we went to visit Jason In California, Matt made a special effort to come see us.  We have many fond memories of racing our sailboat with Matt when he and Jason were in high school.  He was such a nice person with a smile on his face whenever we saw him.  We will miss him, and hope the love and support of family and friends will help you thru this difficult  time, Linda and David Yanofsky

Dorothy, I was so shocked to here of Matt's passing as well as being totally caught off guard to read of George's passing just 3 months prior. It's a very difficult time and my prayers go out to you.

R.I.P Matt! We haven't know each other very long but it was a great honor to meet you. I wish we met alot sooner. I hope you are at peace and with your father now. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends.

My sincerest condolences to Matt's family and east coast friends. I worked with Matt for 7 years here in CA and he always had a bright smile, great attitude and I will miss him dearly. My love to you all who also mourn this loss.

Matt was a warm, soulful man whom I feel fortunate to have reconnected with last year.  Our conversations were lively and far-reaching.  He was dedicated to the people he cared about, which makes his sudden passing that much more painful.  I wish Matt's family peace and solace at this time of terrible loss.  I wish it for Matt as well.

You are missed and loved by so many. Prayers and strength go out to your family and all of us who were  blessed enough to have known you.

I will always think of what a wonderful Hello conversation we had on the eve of all my Goodbyes, when we had coffee while I should have been packing instead. I'm forever grateful that I failed in the latter, and that the fire animation gave you such pleasure, as you expressed to me (see below) mere days before we lost a member of The Tribe. Firedance forever, Matt.
