Philip H. Shecter 85 of Lake Worth, FL passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014. Phil was born December 6, 1928 in Malden, MA to Benjamin & Ethel Shecter. He raised his family in Dover, NH were he ran a successful catering business, prior to retiring to Florida. Phil is survived by his wife of 60 years Florence Shecter. He was the beloved father of Karen Shecter and Jim (Melissa) Shecter. Phil’s passion for dogs and family were vital in his life. He was a man of few words, and put his family first. Phil was a loving husband and father; he will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
