

Sarah Miriam Liberty, age 66 of Lynn, formerly of Gloucester and Salem. She died on Thursday after a brief illness in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Ada (Gilman) Millstein. She was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, received a Masters Degree in Social Work and a Masters Degree in Guidance from Salem State University graduating suma cume laude.
She had been employed for 23 years as a Social Worker for the Commonwealth of Mass., in the Lynn office. From 1987 until 1993 she owned and operated a video store in Gloucester. She was a member of Temple Ahavath Achim in Gloucester.
Beloved wife of the late Theodore Liberty. Devoted mother of Jeffrey and his wife Alisa Feldman of Sunrise, FL, Joseph Feldman, Raphael Liberty, Samuel and his wife Janine Liberty all of Salem. Loving sister of Ann Segal and her late husband Charles of Salem. Cherished grandmother of Zachary, Gienah, Tyler, Eliana, and Gabriela Feldman. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Graveside services at the Maple Hill Cemetery, Esquire Dr., Peabody on Sunday, March 25 at 12:00 Noon. Memorial Observance Sunday only following the services at the home of Ann Segal.
