Steven L. Nessen

Steven L. Nessen – of Amesbury, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the age of 64. Beloved husband of Carla Nessen. Devoted father of Jennifer Nessen of Amesbury and Gregory Nessen of Amesbury. The loving brother of Ellen Nessen of Rhode Island. Treasured uncle of Phillip Sherman , Joshua Sherman, Matthew Sherman and Samuel Sherman. Dear son of the late Bertram and Evelyn (Chernov) Nessen.

Steven grew up in West Peabody, graduated from Peabody Veterans High School, and raised his family in Amesbury. He was an Advertising Sales Executive for the Lowell Sun for 14 years.

He loved the Patriots and hanging out with boys at the Winner’s Circle; Chinese food, a bowl of soup and a mai tai at Family restaurant was another one of his favorite hangout spots. Steven cherished his time spent with family, friends, and respected colleagues & clients.

Calling hours to be held at the Nessen residence Saturday, September 5th 11:30 to 4:00.

Due to regulation imposed by the Coronavirus Pandemic services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Steven’s memory to a charity of your choice.
