A beloved father to Samuel Londer, a cherished brother to Joel, Carol, Gary, and Ira, and son of Robert and Charlotte Londer. Thomas was a man of many talents and passions.
Born and raised in Minneapolis, Thomas raised his family throughout the Southwest, particularly in California and Arizona, where he developed a deep love for the beach and the desert landscapes. Later on in life he pursued his love of the legal profession going back to college and graduating from Suffolk University. He often spoke of the peace he found by the ocean and the thrill of the Arizona sunsets.
Throughout his life, Tom wore many hats—he was an innovative sound engineer, a stockbroker, and a businessman. His career was as diverse as his interests. A true classic rock aficionado, he could always be found with his favorite albums playing in the background, whether he was working or relaxing. Bands like Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, and Pink Floyd were never far from his turntable.
Tom was an active and dedicated member of his local political groups and enjoyed a close-knit community of friends, many of whom he met and reconnected with through his prolific online presence. An amateur horticulturist, he found joy in cultivating his garden just as he nurtured his friendships.
A lifelong fan of science fiction, Tom was particularly fond of Godzilla and Star Wars—two passions that sparked many conversations and fond memories with his loved ones. Whether it was debating the best Godzilla movie or reminiscing about the glory of the original Star Wars trilogy, Tom’s enthusiasm for these fandoms was contagious. Competing against millions of others he honed his interpersonal and game skills online to become a top member of Mafia Wars being inducted into their Hall of Fame under the name of a favorite song “Bad to the Bone”.
Above all, Tom cherished the time spent with his family, friends, and neighbors. He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments and passions but also for his warm heart, large personality, and enduring spirit.
In keeping with family customs, a small, private burial will take place. A memorial service and unveiling of his memorial stone will be announced at a later date.
