Barry Alan Claypool

He married Jenny Gill in May 2000 and in July of 2001 Phoebe Jensen was born. They eventually divorced and Barry married Karrilyn S. Phipps in September of 2006. They had two children, Hayden Suzanne born in August 2008, and Zachary Alan born September 2011. They divorced in December 2023.

Barry will be deeply missed and always remembered. He was great, funny, one of a kind guy. He loved his children with all that he was.

Barry held various jobs before finding his passion of Carpentry. He started working and building his skills in 2005, Barry became a journeyman carpenter in 2010 with Kiewit Building Group in Omaha, Nebraska. Upon moving to Oregon he joined the Pacific Northwestern Carpenters Union where he continued his career.

Barry loved music, but “not that mainstream crap.” He loved finding new bands and artists. He had an interest in fast cars and bikes, as well as photography. He had an eye for capturing great photos while out on adventures. He loved living in the fast lane, but exploring the coastline allowed down time for him to capture breath taking scenery and share it with others.

Barry is survived by his parents, Jeanine Claypool and Darrell Claypool of Nebraska. His brother, Danny Claypool and sister, Kylee Knott and half-sister, Whitnee Claypool, all of Nebraska. Daughters, Phoebe of Nebraska, Hayden of Oregon, Son, Zachary of Oregon. Many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and cousins.
