Bennie D. Fry, 98, of Buena Vista, died January 29, 2025. Bennie was predeceased by her husband David M Fry and Survived by her daughter Penny Mendheim (Dudley) of Jacksonville, FL, David M Fry, Jr. (Linda) of Montgomery, AL, Rich Fry (Stephanie) of Salem, OR, 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, one nephew, two nieces and many cousins.
Bennie was born in San Francisco, California, July 20, 1926 to Carl and Ivy LaVo. She is predeceased by her parents and her older brother Carl and his wife Irene.
Bennie was a faithful Air Force wife for many years until she and Dave retired to Oregon. Bennie was very active in Job's Daughters and Eastern Star and was honored to serve as Grand Organist.
Bennie enjoyed playing the piano and entertaining others, often with the help of Hank Doherty on the banjo.
There will be a visitation to celebrate Bennie's life on February 20, 2025 from 12:00PM- 2:00PM at Virgil T Golden Funeral Services, 605 Commercial St. SE Salem, OR 97301
