She was born December 19, 1932, at Salem General Hospital, the daughter of late Louis and Dorothea Belle Tanzer.
Charlotte attended St. Joseph’s Elementary and graduated from Sacred Heart High School.
She worked for St. Vincent de Paul Store and ten years for Salem Credit Bureau.
Charlotte enjoyed keeping house for her Dad, spending time with family, caring and doing things for others, and had many fond memories of babysitting. She loved to bake pies and cookies and share them with family and friends, playing Bingo, garage sales, collecting cat statues and cookbooks. She loved visiting the Oregon coast and her trip to Hawaii in 1964. She believed in God, prayed the rosary, and loved the Blessed Virgin Mary.
She is survived by nieces Ronda McDonald, Tammy Higgins, and Misti Tanzer and many more cousins and family.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her brother, Ronald.
Burial took place at Saint Barbara Cemetery.
