Dale R. Anderson

Dale R. Anderson, born August 11, 1947 in Alamosa Colorado, died Sunday, October 3, 2021 in Salem, Oregon at the age of 74. He is preceded in death by his father Kenneth Anderson and survived by his wife, Virginia Anderson, mother, Irene Anderson, sons, Michael (Jamie) Anderson, Clinton Anderson, Daniel (Erinn) Anderson, Step daughters, Lea Dymoke (Tom Bauman) and Vickie Kugler (Ken), along with a brother, Allen (Sharie) Anderson and sister, Janice Seward, 3nieces, Sherry Anderson, Laurie Gardner and Lisa Seward, 1 nephew, Jeff Anderson, 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Growing up, the Anderson family moved from Salem to McMinnville, later to Bend and finally back to Salem in 1962 where Dale attended South Salem High School, graduating in 1966. In 1972, as a member of the Saddle Club, he rode for the Oregon Mounted Governor’s Guard and was a proud participant in the Portland Rose Parade. For most of his career, Dale worked in construction and telecommunications, retiring from North Sky in 2017. Some of the things he enjoyed were hunting, fishing and spending time visiting with family and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Pringle Community Hall at 606 Church St SE, Salem, OR 97301 from 1pm – 3pm.
