Dale was born on January 14, 1964, in Germany, alongside his twin sister, Susan. He and Susan were later adopted and raised by Harold Don Graybeal, an Army sergeant serving overseas at the time, and his wife Cleo Graybeal.
Dale graduated from McNary High School in Salem, Oregon, in 1982. He dedicated more than 26 years to military service, first serving in the United States Marine Corps, followed by an interservice transfer to the United States Air Force. During his career, Dale earned multiple individual performance awards and served in the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan, and Iraq, answering the call of duty wherever it took him.
He is survived by his three sons: Ryan Patrick Graybeal (Rachel), Eric Lee Graybeal (Krystyne), and Collin James Graybeal (Amy), as well as his six grandchildren: Emily Rayne, Ethan Dean, Isabella Ranee, Lilly Ann, Alexander Michael, and Olive Ashlee.
Dale is also survived by his sister, Terri “Lyn” Graybeal, and his twin sister, Susan Lynn Arreola. He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Cleo Graybeal, and a dear mother-in-law, Margaret Redelings. Dale shared a significant chapter of life with his former wife, Denise Graybeal, with whom he had his three sons.
Dale enjoyed the outdoors and spent his free time hunting, fishing, and hiking, activities that reflected his appreciation for solitude and nature.
