It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our son Derek. Derek Tucker Rider, age 34, passed away at his home in Salem Oregon on August 3, 2022. Derek was born on February 1, 1988, at St Benedict's Hospital in Jerome Idaho.
Derek loved family and friends, going to the Oregon beach, gardening, his arts and especially laughing in get togethers with his circle of friends.
Derek was predeceased by paternal grandparents Donald and Linda Rider, maternal grandfather Richard Williams and is survived by his parents, Don and Terrie Rider, Brother Brandon (Cheyene) Rider of Gooding, Idaho, Sister Ashlee (Logan) Rider of Kimberly Idaho and 3 nephews, Casey, Dawson and Bentley.
A memorial service will be held in September in Idaho, date and location to later be announced.
