In 1955 Jack met the love of his life, Beverly, and later that same year they married. They have two children, David and Cynthia, and three grandsons.
Jack was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 33 years delivering mostly in the downtown Salem area. His love of gardening, watching the Portland Trailblazers and the Seattle Mariners was well known by family and friends. He was also an active member of the Knight Memorial Church and Salem Fuschia Society.
We will miss his quick wit and soft spoken charm. We love you Dad.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to Mt. Hood Hospice or Oregon Humane Society. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Howell Edwards Doerksen with Rigdon Ransom Funeral Directors. The interment will be at Belcrest Memorial Park.
