

Jim met his future wife Diane in San Marcos, California in 1964, they married in 1965. They raised their children there until they moved to a rural area of Salem, Oregon in 1987.
Jim had his own business as a landscaper where he met many people that became friends and made his life full. He loved working outdoors on the tractor and on his farm, but that was only part of his passion.
His lifetime hobby was restoring and creating new looks of early model Fords. Although his favorite was always Mercury's. He was a body work magician and was well known locally and throughout the country for the body work he did.
To his car club members he was known as CHOP TOP.
Jim is survived by his wife Diane, children Bridgett (Jim) Highley and Lisa (Chuck) Sekafetz, five Grandchildren, three Greatgrandchildren, and his Sister-in-law Pat.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Donald Bougher.
