He was born in Heavener, OK on July 21, 1929. He was married to Donna Lee Walker of Yakima WA, who passed away on August 15, 2014.
James “ Jim” worked in construction and landscaping, was a construction flagger, owned his own waterbed store, raced Sprint cars, amongst many other jobs. He was a Jack of All Trades!
He was preceded in death by his son, Velton Rogers. He is survived by sons James E Rogers of Sonora CA, Albert Rogers of Yakima WA and Randy Rogers of Salem OR; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, brother Velton Rogers of Modesto CA and sister Rose Martin of Modesto CA.
